We’re excited to announce that SWTCH and Kite Mobility, backed by a $500,000 grant from the Ontario government through Ontario Vehicle Innovation Network (@OVINhub ), have successfully completed a multitenant charging project that tackles one of the biggest hurdles for EV adoption: limited electrical capacity.
This partnership proved that intelligent load management technology can eliminate this barrier. At a luxury lifestyle resort community, our SWTCH Control™ technology intelligently managed energy use, enabling the installation of 15 Level 2 chargers while ensuring the stability and resiliency of the local grid.
The powerful insights from this project will help accelerate widespread EV adoption for millions of residents in similar properties, making the transition to electric transportation a reality for everyone.
