Southern Wesleyan University’s President Dr. Bill Barker led prayer for our nation’s Christian colleges this morning as part of the National Gathering of Prayer and Repentance.  This event was held at the National Museum of the Bible in Washington DC and hosted by @FRCdc Tony Perkins, Dr. Jim Garlow and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.  President Barker asked God to “have mercy on us as Christian Colleges and Universities and help us return to a Christ centered, Biblically faithful vision of the truth of God, the love of God, and the wisdom of God, for the sake of our students.” Watch here. youtube.com/live/btGRFuh57…

Did YOU know❓ Freedom's Hill is the oldest building on campus, but only arrived here in 2001? The church was built in 1847 to 1848 at Snow Camp, North Carolina. It was the first Wesleyan church built in the South.
