Sir Joseph Bradney's great History of Monmouthshire was left incomplete at his death in 1933. Madeleine Gray has completed the work by compiling vol. 5 from Bradney's notes in @NLWales. Although now out of print the edition can be accessed online - journals.library.wales/view/1044290/1…
