@emilyofeasttx Grew up in Central and graduated in 89. One night I was watching tv and heard the trashy neighbors shouting behind our house. It was dark and walked out to hear the commotion. Three shots fired and heard the branches getting clipped overhead. Walked back inside.

@TexAgsLive @DavidNuno Arizona State is the biggest game. Gone are the days when game 2 would be a tune up with a limited playbook. This game should show our top potential and if we are rusty, Elko needs to move on to different starters. This one sets the tone for ALL of it.

@MichaelWBratton THIS is the year. If they don't win it now with a generational qb and Sark in his prime, they will never win it with Sark and will need to move on. As an Aggie I hate this, but even I have to admit that they are set up perfectly to win it all.

@SECcousinShane Anything less than 5-1 would be a complete disaster and wasted opportunity. Not to mention the beginning of the end.

@TexAgsLive While his two year body of work should be recognized and lauded for it's greatness, the only thing that should be hall of fame worthy is the flame out. I dread the day when that statue goes up at Kyle Field.

@secnumbersguy Arch Madness has begun. If the horns don't bring home all the hardware after this season, something is terribly wrong.

Cam Coleman WILL have more receiving yards than Jeremiah Smith when Texas faces Ohio State. Arch Manning WILL finish higher than Julian Sayin in the Heisman vote. You can book it like Brendan Sorsby at a baseball game.

This is Bubba. A Tuxedo Maine Coon. Last Christmas, I thought my baby boy was going to die. Such a scare. I told the vet: whatever it costs, whatever it takes. I'll mortgage the house. Please save my boy. He made it. Now he's 18 months old, 20 pounds, and will keep growing for 2-3 more years. My wife (and the vet) saved his life. Soon he'll be big enough to eat us.

@AmandaMAtwell The heisman and the nc are a foregone conclusion at this point. Anything less would be a colossal underperformance. It won’t ever setup this good again for the horns.

@secnumbersguy If this year’s natty doesn’t go to consensus heisman arch and sark, then they have underachieved and missed their window.

Texas A&M has a Heisman caliber quarterback and playmakers EVERYWHERE. The Aggies will have one of the best defenses IN THE COUNTRY. They have one of the best home field advantages IN SPORTS. Are the Aggies a National Championship level team?

@SECUnfiltered From college World Series champions to did not qualify the next season is about as far of a fall as you can make. Dont burn it down. Keep fanning the flames with “but, we won it all last year crap.” NIL era hits different.

@AmandaMAtwell This post is about as close as you can get to saying "Heisman winning national champion Arch Manning." without actually saying it. Anything less at this point would be a failure of him and Sark given the returning production for the horns this year.

There's actually a few differentiators. On paper, Arch and Marcel have similar YDs/TDs/QBRs. However: 1. INTs: Marcel, 12, Arch 7 2. Top 10 opponents including post season: Marcel 2, Arch 5. Reg season: Marcel 1, Arch 5 3. A&M - returned entire starting OL, Texas - returned 1
Billy Liucci@billyliucci

@Casstastic4 This quarterback comparison will be the most tiring off-season topic when it comes to the two teams. There's no real differentiator between the two.

@Chewing_Clock It is impossible to overhype the eventual national champions with the heisman winner. Indiana showed the way and Sark and Co. are next in line. There is no way that they don't win it this year unless the wheels have fallen off the wagon. Sark, Arch and Musch got this.

@AmandaMAtwell The key difference between the two was that the horns last year had a first year starter at qb. @billyliucci understood that a first year starter is not the same as a qb with a season of starts under their belt. Reed has a lower ceiling than Arch, but he is solid.

Billy wasn't exceptionally high on the Longhorns coming into last season due to what they lost to the draft/graduation. Looking at the Aggies potential draft class - I'm applying that same metric, along with the end of season trajectory.

@AmandaMAtwell @billyliucci Arguing over here that Cignetti only had one elite season so far is asinine. Building a foundation takes an elite coach when a cellar dweller is involved. Duke and Indiana for that bill to me. That’s much better than being born on third base and staying there. Crazy!!

@billyliucci I’d say - elite = winning in the playoffs Good = having a successful season in conference but missing the mark when it matters most You toss around this “elite” term a whole hell of a lot easier with the maroon goggles on.
