@Mabonga_254 He should have set a clear example with the judiciary when he was president there. Wasted a golden opportunity as he left behind a soaring corruption within the system.

President David Maraga’s aim is to leave this country better than he found it. He wants to leave a country where people leave in peace & harmony. A country where tribalism has no space in the society. A country where people are treated equally & with dignity. A country where the constitutionalism is enshrined in the people's heart. A country where the rule of law prevails. A zero-corruption country. This is why he's seeking the presidency to lead the nation.

Under President Maraga, corruption will have no hiding place. He will recover every looted shilling, strengthen institutions, and ensure public resources serve every Kenyan. Justice, accountability, and transparency will define his governance from Day One.

@kingethuk Important factors you've not considered herein ; Personal interests of the guys and that of their controllers The financiers and their demands, plus other politicians within the opposition and the demands they'll table to allow such a ticket. Never easy nor straightforward.

Al Jazeera has released a disturbing documentary exposing how Kenyans are allegedly being surveilled through their phones, and how Safaricom may have been enabling it. According to the documentary, citizens’ phone data has reportedly been shared with security agencies, while spyware has allegedly been used to infiltrate devices and monitor people. Think about that for a moment. The same phone you use for M-Pesa, calls, WhatsApp and private family conversations could allegedly be turned into a surveillance tool against you. This should terrify every Kenyan. Because this is no longer about politicians. It’s about ordinary people. A boda rider criticizing taxes. A journalist exposing corruption. A university student tweeting against the government. A parent complaining about the economy in a WhatsApp group. If unchecked, Kenya could slowly return to the fear that existed during the Moi era, where people whispered inside homes because they feared the state was listening. Only this time, the informer is in your pocket. Your phone. That is why this story matters. A government that watches its own citizens is not protecting democracy or them. It is protecting leaders like Ruto. And once people become afraid to speak freely, freedom dies quietly.

@BernardKavuli Lesson ? Euphorically replacing a government in power without necessary safeguards against political turmoil in place, may not always result into prosperity.

Ousmane Sonko has made a rapid political return in Senegal, securing election as speaker of the national parliament just days after being removed from his position as prime minister. He was elected with 132 votes during a parliamentary session on Tuesday, which was reportedly boycotted by opposition lawmakers, according to AFP.

The youths are tired. The old are tired. The young are also tired. This coming month of June may mark the end of Ruto's tenure. We need to show up in large numbers and destabilize this government untill he resigns. Maandamano should last Monday to Friday.RUTO MUST GO.

@ouma_neko Kenyans will have the opportunity to vote in the presidential election in a year's time. The voters will decide to either give Ruto another term or replace him with another Kenyan. But one Gachagua is NOT an option surely.

Rigathi Gachagua has become President William Ruto’s biggest political nightmare. The man they thought they had finished is now the same man haunting every corridor of power in Nairobi. And the painful truth inside State House is this: Ruto is regretting that impeachment. Deeply. You can feel it in the panic. You can hear it in the desperate backchannel talks. You can see it in the sudden softening from people who were chest thumping only months ago. Even Farouk Kibet reportedly cannot believe this is the same man they humiliated, isolated and pushed out of power with such confidence. They thought once Gachagua was impeached, Mt Kenya would scatter, surrender and kneel quietly. Instead, the opposite happened. The impeachment turned him from a deputy president into a political symbol. Now every gathering, every whisper in government offices, every internal briefing circles back to one man: Rigathi Gachagua. And now the desperation inside government is reaching embarrassing levels. Bwana PS is even telling me “Kenya 1” the name insiders use for Ruto is willing to do almost anything to neutralise Gachagua politically. Anything. Including revisiting the very negotiations Gachagua reportedly rejected before impeachment and tripling the offers he refused to take. Think about that for a second. A man they branded irrelevant is now so politically dangerous that the same system that removed him is allegedly trying to buy silence, compromise or political surrender at any cost. That is not strength. That is fear. Raw fear. Because deep down they now understand something they failed to understand earlier: You can remove a man from office. But you cannot easily remove him from the hearts of people who feel betrayed, cornered and politically abandoned. And that is the fire now spreading across the mountain and beyond. The anger is no longer just about Gachagua himself. It is about broken trust. Political betrayal. Humiliation. Power games. And a growing belief among ordinary supporters that loyalty in this government is rewarded with betrayal once you stop being useful. That is why the attacks against him never stop. Because power fears what it cannot fully control. And today, whether his enemies admit it publicly or not, Rigathi Gachagua remains the loudest headache inside William Ruto’s government.

Gladys Wanga has been insulting Senior counsel James Orengo for quite a while. Over the weekend, Orengo responded politely & made it very clear that he has never been laid for political favor unlike some other loose canoes in ODM. I don't see any problem with that statement because it's pure truth. He is a seasoned politician. He knows what he is saying because he has seen it happen since the Moi regime. Gloria Orwoba talked about it a year ago on how women in parliament & in Executive are supplied with high level electricity for nominations, appointments & party tickets. Now Orengo has confirmed it to be true. Orengo has been in the game for a long time, so whatever he is saying is true. What criteria did nyamu use to attain that senatorial seat? Now, women like Esther Panyaris who are on record asking for favors in exchange for Sex have come out gun blazing. The same woman who said that she'll go on a sex holiday with a Ben Kumi if Baba wins the elections. Gladys Wanga herself was caught red-handed the other day by the husband receiving high voltage electricity from one of the county's employees. Na Kijana mdogo mwenye makagare kubwa akakula panga ya kichwa. Now we have another woman who thinks she's qualified to vie for Women Rep seat in Maasai Land just coz she's serving Yamune cartels in government the food that faces the earth. 85% of women in parliament are just high-end prostitutes. That's why their rhetoric while seeking votes for Ruto is always sexualized. I support James Orengo 💯 percent. In fact we should do away with that Women Rep seat completely. We are tired of seeing women going to parliament to meet the sexual needs of Wakubwa rather than protecting women's rights.

Oyugi Magwanga, the former Deputy Governor of Homa Bay County who recently resigned following a fallout with Gladys Wanga, has issued a stern warning to Wanga and her allies. Oyugi insists that Gladys Wanga has no moral authority to criticize or insult James Orengo and Millie Odhiambo. Magwanga is now poised to contest for the Homa Bay gubernatorial seat in 2027. In 2022, he stepped down for Gladys Wanga after advice from Baba. The Homa Bay gubernatorial race will be one to watch. Mama suluhu must go!
