Miigwetch to all veterans, including both of my great-grandpa’s, for your sacrifices so that we all continue to have land to walk on and lakes to swim in. Your role in protecting our land many years ago means we have food on our tables today.

My long term goal beginning this year is to find a career in Indigenous nursing that adds my research and community health background. Putting it out there into the universe early!

If you can volunteer your time and have not been asked to isolate please reach out to those in the community of Wiikwemkoong to see how you can help. Volunteer runners/deliveries needed as some families are all in isolation.

Almost all my family is in isolation this week due to a community outbreak in Wiikwemkoong. I'm a designated runner as I have not been affected. Grandma and cousins are all home and safe ❤️ Care packages matter!

“I do my best writing when I’m half asleep and my mind is too tired to argue with what my heart is telling my hands to do.” Dr Robyn Rowe shares her guide to success. Lots of writing, food, sharing, and laughter this weekend! Miigs to @IndigenousLU for partnering with us.
