I agree @Dr_AhmedAdil the key message from SAGES 2025 & ACS 2026 is the routine use of IOC +/- ICG in laparoscopic cholecystectomy @SWexner @AmCollSurgeons

The shift from selective to routine IOC might be due to: -better detection of aberrant anatomy - better Dx of previously undetected CBD stones - better prevention of BDI N.B/ IOC is still preferred over ICG, since the former gives better idea about lumen of the ducts than ICG.

Most people don’t realize how quickly severe bleeding can become life-threatening. This Stop the Bleed Month, learn the basics: 1. Apply firm, direct pressure to the wound. 2. Pack the wound with gauze or clean cloth and maintain pressure. 3. Apply a tourniquet.
