@SWonThames @GMB I’m not sure how many people are still working till 9pm+ , weekends etc just to fulfill what the job requires, the pupils may finish at 3:30 but that’s it ..paper work etc can’t be done when they are dealing with teaching,supporting ,mentoring pupils,putting them first.

@vegasbaby2012 @GMB Many jobs are no longer a strict 9-5 like the old days, let alone 9-3.30 for many teachers. A good and responsible teacher will want to put their pupils first, rather than a selfish work to rule attitude

@SWonThames @GMB What about teachers that are running exam revisions sessions , clubs durning holidays… A lot of holidays are filled with marking,giving feedback, prepping work, diversifying work for Sen students, writing reports,lesson plans to give TAs,completing targets etc
