I was also thrilled to have the opportunity to present some findings from my PhD at the European Grassland Federation conference in the Netherlands earlier this month. The conference featured impressive technologies and farms along with insightful presentations throughout.

I was delighted to receive the first runner up award for the Animal and Grassland Research and Innovation Programme at the Walsh Scholar of the Year Awards last month.

2022 also saw the completion of my trial work where data collection was focused on the effect of sward type on intake, digestibility, methane output and meat quality in sheep. Plenty of writing, analysis and exciting opportunities to come in 2023 (3/4).

2022 was a busy but productive year! I presented at three international conferences. I travelled to Orlando for #GGAA2022, Caen for #EGF2022 and the session of the @BSAS_org and @CIELivestock1 on sustainable forages for net-zero in livestock production in London (1/4).
