@JulianRc30 @Jamez7856819634 @notgwendalupe This one wasn’t accurate about shit. Literally only showed facets of Michael’s life that they wanted you to see. Literally nothing a out this movie was informative about Mike. If you learned something from this movie you never knew Mike from the start

@FowobiofLagos You know what real Celebration of Michael would have been? If they made a full length Thriller movie. Each scene telling a story narrated by the album tracks. This isn’t a biopic or “Celebration” it’s more of another way to profit off of a dead celebrities likeness.

I finally watched MICHEAL… and I get why people are arguing. This isn’t a biopic. It’s PR with a budget. Jaafar Jackson did his thing, no doubt. The voice, the movement, the aura… he STUDIED Michael Jackson properly. But acting alone can’t save a story that’s scared of itself. They biggest issue? The film avoids the hardest conversations. You can’t tell the story of one of the most controversial figures in pop culture and then… tiptoe around the controversy. That’s not storytelling. That’s image management. It feels like the movie is constantly protecting him instead of exploring him. Every rough edge is softened. Every uncomfortable moment is rushed. Every question… quietly dodged. A great biopic doesn’t worship. It reveals. Think of films that show BOTH brilliance and flaws. That’s what makes legends human. This one just wants you to clap. The crazy part? There’s actually a GREAT movie hiding inside this one. The music sequences? Fire. The performance scenes? Electric. The emotional depth? Barely scratched. You leave the cinema entertained… but not enlightened. And for a figure as complex as Michael Jackson, that feels like a missed opportunity. Final take: If you’re a fan, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re looking for truth, depth, or balance… you might be disappointed. And that’s where the real debate starts. What do you think? Did the film tell the truth… or just protect a legacy?

@SYBAU445 @ResilienceX3 @FreddieGibbs Our history is traumatic that’s just a fact. So we should stop telling our stories because it’s traumatic?!?! That’s insane we can tell all stories we don’t have to limit any of them.

@SYBAU445 @ResilienceX3 @FreddieGibbs You are acting as if other ppl had the same opportunities to do what Eddie did, hell no! Go back and look at what Pryor had to do before he was the Pryor we all know and love. Without Pryor, Foxx, Wilson etc opening the doors Eddie doesn’t get those opportunities

@Kemical1981 @ResilienceX3 @FreddieGibbs What does that have to do with anything? The topic is Black movies not about trauma, slavery, or being excepted by white people and i stated fact that Eddie Murphy didn’t do any of those and he deserves credit for that

@Kemical1981 @whoistrip @ResilienceX3 @TheCompanyMan I still stand on what i said. Those movies do nothing but keep telling us about a time that we already get reminded of everyday. A lot of them aren’t even based on fact. They are fictionalized and dramatized to paint a perspective of history that differs from textbook facts

Will Smith says he won’t punish Jada Pinkett Smith for cheating with their son Jaden Smith’s friend, adding you shouldn’t punish people for mistakes 🤔👀 "You have to forgive people." "Love is not beating people for what they did and hanging on to trifling sh*t."

@whoistrip @ResilienceX3 @TheCompanyMan In states like Florida, this is true but I don’t think those are the movies we need. It’s up to us as a people to teach our youth about their history not hollywood

@ResilienceX3 @TheCompanyMan We need to have more stories about slavery and Jim Crow as well, they aren’t teaching it in schools and lies will replace truths of the stories get lost.
