Today, I spoke with the President Herzog of Israel. I reiterated that the appalling treatment of civilians aboard the Gaza-bound flotilla was unacceptable, and that respect for human dignity must be upheld everywhere, at all times. I underlined the imperative of de-escalation in the Middle East, and the importance of a genuine resumption of dialogue among all parties. Progress toward peace and stability in the region must remain the clear, shared objective.

Imran Khan can only be free and play a role in the future of a viable Pakistan if he takes rational decisions. Asim Munir is a narcissistic S....O..... When you put this shallow man in insecurity mode, he will do everything and anything to satisfy his ego and ensure his survival. Imran Khan must not repeatedly instigate that feeling, because it is not only for PTI or Pakistan; the world needs a leader like him to stabilize the economy and improve global security. When leaders win the trust of their people, they have to rise above their own country and work for greater goals like preventing the Gaza massacre and the Middle East war. Mr. Khan is stuck; that approach is damaging his party, Pakistan, Asia and the world at large. He has to find a way to get out, strike a deal, negotiate, or sacrifice; that would be true leadership, just like declaring an innings to take a chance of winning the match. People have hope in him; his obligation to step up is a greater cause than being stubborn and staying in limbo. I am more committed to Pakistan than any other people in this group. Unfortunately, we cannot do anything if Imran Khan does not create a chance to get out and mobilize the masses; these rascals, Form-47- tola, will operate with impunity—bad news for Imran Khan, PTI, Pakistan and the muslim world at large.

@MarkJCarney @MohamedBinZayed Canada does not believe in violence. Mr. Carney, how about the UAE providing the airspace, logistic support and military bases that the US and Israel have used for an attack on Iran, which is against international law. Mr. Carney, call a spade a spade.

Canada strongly condemns Iran’s unprovoked missile and drone attacks on the United Arab Emirates. We stand in solidarity with @MohamedBinZayed and the people of the United Arab Emirates and commend defensive efforts to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure. Canada reiterates its call for de-escalation and diplomacy in the region.
