i’m 24, tall, work in tech, very sociable, and i had a funny experience at dolores park yesterday. i went up to a girl and was about to ask where the bathroom is, but she misunderstood and told me she had a boyfriend, so i said no worries and left. then a few minutes later, she came back to find me. she told me she really respected that i had the courage to approach her, and that it feels rare these days for a guy to do that in person and risk rejection. she told me to keep doing it. i didn’t have the guts to admit to her i had given up and decided to hold it in, so i told her that yeah, it can be a little nerve-wracking, but i do it because i really don’t believe in dating apps. and somehow since that interaction, women have been dming me left and right. at this point it genuinely feels like i stumbled across some kind of dolores park genie. tbh i never actually found the bathroom. i just peed behind a bush.
