City of Syracuse administrative offices will be closed for the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday , Feb.16.
Trash and recycling collection will proceed to operate on schedule with no delays.

Public Works Notice: trash and recycling pickup is delayed on Tuesday in areas on the north and eastside due to the winter storm. Residents scheduled for Tuesday pickups should put trash and recycling carts out on Wednesday.

Mayor Walsh has issued a snow safety alert as the first significant snowfall arrives. A lake effect snow warning is in effect until 7 a.m. Saturday. The “Home for the Holidays” tree lighting will still take place today at 6 p.m. in Clinton Square. Visit bit.ly/3JQwWLf.

Mayor Walsh announced a road reconstruction project on Thurber St beginning Sat, July 5. Crews will mill and pave from E Brighton Ave to Comstock Ave. The road will be closed during construction with traffic detours in place. Read more at syr.gov/news.
