Sorry, but the rising river levels mean we have to cancel junior parkrun in the morning (22nd October). The river levels had steadied this morning but have started rising again, slowly but very rapidly. The safety of our parkrunners and volunteers comes first. See you next week

This Sunday we have a wonderful take over by Mereside Primary School, with many of our volunteer roles being filled by staff and parents. If you are a new participant and want a time then you can register by visiting the Parkrun website. We look forward to welcoming everyone!

We had a Coleham Primary School take over today, with many volunteer roles being filled with parent carers and staff. We also had an incredible 194 children cross our finish line, making us the largest JPR in the country! Thank you. Link to today's photos are on our Facebook page

So this morning me and the twins popped (5 min walk) down to @SYjuniorparkrun after watching Summer do it countless times Daisy finally decided to do one 😊 and she loved it 😍 especially as there was cake after to celebrate the events '6th birthday' 🎂
