With the wonderful support of the community and driven by the huge efforts of Samantha Harris, we are delighted to share that the NEW Muscle Biology Subgroup of @BiophysicalSoc has launched! This creates a dedicated home for researchers across all areas of muscle biophysics—from excitation–contraction coupling and myofilament structure–function relationships to the regulation of contraction and beyond.
Our first meeting will be at the 2027 February Annual Meeting. I am excited to be Co-Chair with Sam, and to be working with @CampbellLabatUK as Secretary.
