Tom Petty died six years ago today. I am continually sad about this but this video of Tom explaining how he wrote “The Waiting” makes me feel better.

@Lenzy2108 I don’t disagree but I’ve seen way too many guys give him a pass. Less talented teams overachieve with culture, accountability, coaching, etc. There are plenty to blame but ultimately he has to answer as the leader. Yes, there’s still 89 games left 😂

@S_Lyden I’m not passionate one way or another tbh but if I had to place blame I’m looking at the FO. The rosters Rocco has worked with from 2021-2023 is comical. So many guys who were never productive or in MLB again after their stint with the Twins.

No longer imagining this. Buxton being at DH is effectively the equivalent of missing significant time when you consider the times he’s missed on top of being just a DH. Not that Rocco is perfect, but he’s been given a raw deal for the last three seasons. The FO needs to go.
