Why President Tinubu Is The Best Friend Nigerian Students and Lecturers Could Ever Have Since 1973, when the National Association of University Teachers (which later transformed into ASUU) went on a national strike, there has been no administration in Nigeria lasting over a year in which university lecturers did not go on a national strike. Please fact-check me. The only exception to this historical fact is the Tinubu government. When you are admitted to a university under President Tinubu, a four-year course is a four-year course! As a student, have you experienced nationwide strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities in the last three years? Never! You can plan your life under this President. Not only are your lecturers better paid under Tinubu, but almost a million of your fellow students are benefiting from President Tinubu's interest-free NELFUND Student Loan since the President signed the Student Loan Bill into law on Monday, June 12, 2023. As a result of these investments in education, 21 Nigerian universities were listed among the top 54 universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings, the highest ever. No former military Head of State, President, Vice President, or Governor in Nigeria can make this claim except Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Under President Tinubu, aside from defence and security, the Federal Government has allocated more funds to education in our budgets than to any other sector and has built more than 20 new schools nationwide, in addition to maintaining the thousands of schools that already exist. Nigerians do not have a president who will build breweries while students have no access to schools. President Tinubu is the best thing to happen to education in Nigeria! Now, watch out for them in the comment section below. They will insult the President and his supporters. They will malign me. They will abuse indiscriminately. They may even curse and swear. Irrespective of their reactions to this truthful commentary, I have every confidence in the ability of Nigerian students and their parents to separate facts from propaganda. However they respond, what they cannot do is factually dispute the above facts, because 'Renewed Hope' is not an agenda. Key Highlights of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri’s Speech at the Adamawa APC State Congress
1. Gov. Fintiri Described the APC state congress in Adamawa as historic and unprecedented in scale.
2. He highlighted the smooth alignment of former PDP members into APC, reflecting the party’s culture of mergers and inclusiveness.
3. The Governor declared that the process has moved from alignment to full political fusion, forming a united APC in the state.

5. Governor Fintiri commended President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the National Working Committee, and stakeholders from both APC and PDP.
