UIC has landed BYU transfer guard Elijah Crawford, source told @SInow.
Crawford was a top-150 recruit out of high school at Brewster Academy and has a chance to be one of the best guards in the Missouri Valley.

@BennettPitcher @KodyDuncanPGH Just checked the standings, pretty interesting stuff there. Maybe you should take a look #33wins

@BennettPitcher @StoolBaseball Last in the division is really good they’re trying their best!
(Cubs tied for 2nd btw)

@BennettPitcher @HollywoodShayne LeBron made the finals at 22 with Larry Hughes as his 2nd leading scorer (played on the bulls so no disrespect Larry). Back to back mvp at 25. Not a discussion we’re having right now.
English

@BennettPitcher You just tweeted about him 3 times. In 3 minutes. Just an observation

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 Agree that Jokic is a plus defender and metrics are flawed. So, maybe the best stat to use is DARKO, which a hoopshype survey says the most front office employees trust! According to this advanced stat, Lebron at his peak is nearly 10% more impactful than Jokic at his! Woah!!
English

@S_silverstein20 @evankanellos1 Sure BPM is not perfect. But the top 3 career BPM leaders are Jokic, Lebron, and Jordan so it must do well to tell you who the all time greats are. By no means is Jok the best defender in the NBA but perhaps he is a more valuable defender than he is given credit for… (1/2)

The greatest player of our lifetime.

Watching Nikola Jokic play basketball is an experience I can’t put into words.
English

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 True that neither player heavily relies on the 3! However, I think this speaks more to the quality of shot, spacing, and overall offensive strategy that Jokic’s Nuggets play with vs 15 yrs ago. And again, PER really only focuses on one side of the ball, but you gotta play both!
English

@S_silverstein20 @evankanellos1 Good point about PER. However, in the 08-09 season Lebron averaged 1.6 (132 total) 3PM on 4.7 3PA. The year Jokic set the PER record, he averaged 1.3 3PM (97 total) on 3.9 3PA. So he actually made less three pointers than LeBron did in 2009 and still had the best PER ever! (2/2)
English

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 Hearing LeBron has made first team all defense 6 times, he might be better there! PER is a great stat! However it strongly weighs 3pm, and the game has changed! In fact, 3pa across the league have nearly doubled from Lebrons per peak of 2009 (18.1a) to Jokic’s in 2022 (35.2a)!!!
English

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 I would argue that you are doing the same thing! BPM values plays like assists, which Jokic is great at, more heavily for centers than forwards, like LeBron. That stat also has Jokic as the best defender in the nba each of the last 3 years, yet he has made 0 all defensive teams!
English

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 Jokic did turn pro before LeBron though, right? And I’m pretty sure LeBron still won his 4th mvp before Jokic won his third maybe?? I think his peak WAR season is 20% higher than Jokic’s too. He might be better idk
English

@S_silverstein20 @evankanellos1 I was seven but there's a thing called YouTube. You should go on there and watch a few videos about Jokic to get educated. Also, LeBron was 27 when he won his first title during his 9th NBA season. Jokic was 28 when he won his first title during his 8th NBA season. Pretty similar
English

@jacksonmunro41 @evankanellos1 Weren’t you like 7 years old in 2011? I’m surprised you remember that series so well. And in case you forgot because again you weren’t even 10 years old, LeBron went on to win back to back titles right after that! While being younger than Jokic is right now!!! Impressive stuff
English

@evankanellos1 Yes. Remember peak LeBron laid an egg in the 2011 finals. Until peak Jokic has a series like that he’s better imo. And if he wins the chip this year it becomes hard to argue for LeBron. I’ve just never seen anything like Nikola Jokic
