The security forces in Iran threw acid on Marziyeh for not covering her hijab “properly”. And this one? The grandniece of Qasem Soleimani the slain IRGC commander, in a luxury life in America, without hijab. Yes for us ordinary women in Iran: show our hair, lose our face, beaten by morality police, arrested, blacklisted, and even get killed like Mahsa, Jina Amini. Outside Iran: be connected to the regime, enjoy your freedom.

A letter from a former IRGC Ground Forces captain who defected from the regime. “I joined the IRGC twelve years ago because I loved my country. Every day we were told that we were the true defenders of Iran, the shield protecting our borders from foreign enemies and terrorists. For a long time I believed it. I wore that uniform with pride. But eventually it became impossible to ignore the reality of what we were actually protecting. We were not defending the people of Iran. We were defending the bank accounts of our commanders and the survival of a handful of men at the top of power. My breaking point did not come on a battlefield. It came in the streets of our own cities. When the order came to treat our own brothers and sisters, students, hardworking fathers, and young women who only wanted basic human dignity, as enemies of God and to fire live ammunition into crowds, the illusion collapsed. You cannot look into the eyes of an unarmed twenty year old lying on the asphalt in a pool of blood and still convince yourself that you are on the right side. I know there are thousands still inside the ranks of the IRGC who feel the same disgust I once felt. They stay because they fear for their families, because of economic pressure, or because the intelligence apparatus watches everyone. But to my former brothers who still wear that uniform, the regime is using you as a wall between its stolen wealth and the anger of the nation. When that wall finally collapses, and it will, they will flee in private jets to places like Caracas or Moscow. You will be the ones left to answer to the people of Iran. I left everything behind because I could no longer be a jailer in my own home. Now my only hope is that the world hears the voice of the people inside Iran, and that those who still hold weapons lower them from the chests of our youth and finally stand with the people.” Mehdi, former captain in the IRGC Ground Forces

I don’t care what “side” you’re on, every single Iranian should condemn the U.S. strike on the school in Minab, & mourn those innocent schoolchildren. Anything short of that is inhumane & shows you’re only pushing a specific narrative or agenda. It was a war crime. Full stop.

She was stripped naked on camera, denied urgent medical care, and now she has permanently lost sight in one eye. Sara (Houra) Asgari, a young woman from Yasuj, was violently arrested on January 9, 2026 when IRGC Intelligence forces raided her home. She was held in solitary confinement for days, completely cut off from her family. Inside detention, she was twice forced to undergo degrading body searches while filmed. Her cell’s extreme under-floor heating caused suffocating heat and physical distress. Under intense psychological pressure, her right eye began to fail. Within four days, she lost vision in it completely. Doctors later confirmed severe fluid buildup behind the retina caused by extreme trauma and stress. Even after prison medical staff formally approved an urgent hospital referral, the interrogating prosecutor refused, mockingly claiming her eye was “healthier than mine.” Critical treatment was delayed. By the time she was released on February 9, her condition had severely worsened. Attempts to restore vision failed due to life-threatening complications. Sara’s blindness is not an accident. It is the result of torture, humiliation, and deliberate medical neglect.

Look at this beautiful young Iranian. After 50 days in a coma, he passed away today. See how the Islamic regime has killed 50,000 beautiful young people and millions of dreams، young people who were only seeking freedom. Those who remained silent, and those who support this regime or advocate negotiating with it and giving it more time, have their hands stained with the blood of these young people؛ without a doubt. #freeiran

Contrary to what you’ve been led to believe, the protests in Iran have not stopped. It’s traditional in Iran to mark the 40th day after the passing of a loved one. As families mark the 40th day since the January 8-9 massacre, the authorities are shooting mourners at funerals.

The largest street crime in Iran’s history has taken place, yet the shameless Secretary General of this organization congratulates the perpetrators of that massacre on the anniversary of their rise to power. In the absurd Security Council session, the representative of the killers was allowed to lie shamelessly for 20 minutes and not a single question was asked. Now the foreign minister of the blood-stained Islamic Republic regime has also been invited to speak at the Human Rights Council. Under the leadership of António Guterres, the United Nations is paving the way for whitewashing the killers of the Iranian people. For the people of Iran, Abbas Araghchi’s appearance at the Human Rights Council is like a repetition of the January massacre. The people of Iran ask you to withdraw this foolish invitation. @hrw @volker_turk @UNGeneva @UNHumanRights @antonioguterres @UN

“If you lift a mullah’s beard up, it says ‘Made in UK’”—the old conspiratorial adage goes in Iran. Britain’s inaction on the Ayatollah’s IRGC is only emboldening these conspiracy theories. This is damaging to the UK’s long-term interests in a free Iran 👇thejc.com/opinion/britai…

How does a father say goodbye to his son for the last time? Saeid Toorvand, a 33-year-old protester from Chalab village in Ilam, was shot and killed by Islamic Republic death forces. He was the father of a three-year-old boy. Now his own father must bury him, saying a final goodbye by gently kissing his son’s face one last time.
