@SeanCMcWatt The app is great! Much better than reading the Netter from cover to cover (Nothing against Netter, really 💙). Your creativity shows true dedication. Highly appreciate 🙌

@AliKRutman @MelB_96 @blondieromanov @julienmcrvl @SabBergeron Our last small group together. But hoping you will all come for a pathology rotation in the future ! #untilwemeetagain #medschool #PathologyResidents #bittersweet

Showing fresh first year med students that pathology is everywhere. They can now tell how old a myocardial infarct is ! Looking forward to working with them again #inflammation #medschool @julienmcrvl @AliKRutman @MelB_96 @blondieromanov @anusmita_16 @SabBergeron @McGillMed

@vhnguyenmd Oh that book! 😍 Dr. Zimmerman's ophthalmic pathology is one of my favorite path reading so far! I agree with both @DrGeeONE and @vhnguyenmd and would also go for complex choristoma in that case!
And yes, now officially Med1. 👩⚕️🥰 Pathologist in training here! 🙋♀️🔬
English

Epibulbar dermoid choristomas comprised of 3 types:
1️⃣Solid limbal dermoid
2️⃣Dermolipoma
3️⃣Complex choristoma
I would call this Dermolipoma as there is a little bit of adipose yissue in 1st picture. #EyePath #PediPath

👁A conjunctival mass (limbus region) in a child. 🔆This is a limbal dermoid -It is a form of choristoma -Histology shows a dome shaped mass lined by surface epithelium, composed of thick bundles of collagen with embedded adnexal structures. #EyePath #Pedipath

Differentials for Rb are toxocariasis, PHPV and Coat's. In this case, the gliosis, clefting and sub retinal exudate suggest Coat's Disease. 🤓

@vhnguyenmd @DrGeeONE @HENRYY_MD @MegLang @forthejon @Dr_Jukic @DermpathJC @vi_monappa @MarcelaSaebL @ProfRScolyerMIA @et565 @tonitatirado Yes! Thanks @vhnguyenmd 🙌 Cystic is (almost) always a good sign. If conjunctival nevus in a young patient is intimidating 🔬, Clinical pathological correlation is key! Limbus location + cystic = good nevus
English

@DrGeeONE @HENRYY_MD @MegLang @forthejon @Dr_Jukic @DermpathJC @vi_monappa @MarcelaSaebL @ProfRScolyerMIA @et565 @tonitatirado Would cystic changes is sign of benign conjunctival nevus? (Pearl from Dr Miguel Burnier, few doors from my office) @SabBergeron
English

@MilmanTatyana Shiny, well demarcated. Neurofibroma? Pleomorphic Adenoma is rare but still to consider (wild guess here)

@NeuroEyepath Beautiful image of the fovea. At the centre of the macula, the fovea is thin and composed of only one layer of photoreceptors. It is the area of the retina responsible for our sharp central vision.
