@SabinHoward 1st I love your work, studied sculpture myself and did bronze casting. So have a deep appreciation for the work you do. With the new memorial mockup my concern is the proportion of the characters to the arch itself. Currently they seem to dominate it. Is this intentional?

@SabinHoward Is the wall face going to be blank? If so why not add any inspirational quotes? I’ve got a million from so many amazing Americans. Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to god.. I feel hits right in today’s world. just wondering. Absolutely love it though dude great job!

One of the many ramifications of drifting from our Christian faith is the progression of art. Art is a beautiful expression or outpouring of our faith. Art should be good, true, and beautiful. Because we’ve lost our way, we don’t get the Cistine chapel, we get monotonous, uninspiring and many times ugly works of art. Find our way back to God, we find our way back to art.

I was impressed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference. He indeed addressed a number of particular political issues, but what most grabbed my attention was his stress on the common culture that unites Europe and America. He cited Dante, Shakespeare, the Sistine Chapel, Cologne Cathedral—even the Beatles as expressions of basic cultural intuitions that still inform the West. But he pressed the matter further, insisting, in the spirit of both Christopher Dawson and Pope Benedict XVI, that that culture is grounded ultimately in the Christian faith. It is simply the case that reverence for the dignity of the individual, for human rights, for political freedom, and for equality comes, in the final analysis, from the Christian Gospel. Basic to his presentation was the conviction that Europe and America will truly flourish when each re-discovers its spiritual mooring.

@gypsy_lovell The figures came out a little bit larger. The ones on the relief panel will be 8 feet high and the ones on top of the arch architecture will be 12 feet high.
