Brendan Rodgers nearly won the league then Liverpool sold Luis Suarez and replaced him with Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert.
Sturridge missed 44 games through injuries, and that deadly SAS partnership that made us so dangerous was gone overnight.
Rodgers was set up to fail.
Arne Slot won the league and then got backed with £450m. Isak, Wirtz, Ekitike and more. He was set up to succeed and failed miserably.
That’s the difference.

Rodgers had a tougher title race than Slot. Hence why they finished on the same points yet one won the league and one didn’t.

@SMXLFC The best striker has been injured all season. The best 10 in has been tried and tested in every team combination imaginable and is still not up to the mark. The fantastic up and coming striker was decent. The best lb played well. The rb forgot how to play football.

@NOTLFCJ__ He benched Salah for a couple games because Salah has been lackluster since February 2025. What Salah does in return is insane, blew up on him with the interview basically asking everyone to rally behind him and sack Slot.

I like Slot enough that I am willing to back him next season, mainly because I can’t put myself through the negative energy that he actually deserves after what he delivered this year.
But the way he was so willing to throw Salah under a bus should never be forgotten.

@cogito_yuri well he's saying that now bc he's been hounded by everyone calling him fascist. Before the stupid ending most of the fanbase agreed that to have his protagonist do something this heinous while also being this sympathetic and understandable was ingenious. Until it all fell apart.

I don't think Isayama is a fascist, I think he was a way over ambitious 23-year-old who came up with a story that required much more knowledge and maturity than he possessed but that nonetheless happened to become a huge global phenomenon.

Not sure why this is blowing up all of a sudden, but if you actually read the quote, Isayama's "regret" is that he was too attached to Eren's character to portray him as a completely unsympathetic villain. In other words, he regrets that the ending he wrote went too EASY on Eren.
