The Sabres will have one more chance on Tuesday night to get a power play goal and avoid the 0 for April moniker.

The #Sabres had 6 different goal scorers in today’s 6-1 win and had 12 different players with at least a point. 10 of the 12 forwards had a point, only Ostlund and Zucker didn’t. Everybody ropes, everybody rides!

There are 4 teams in the Eastern Conference that missed the playoffs that would have been in if they were in the Western Conference, one of which (WSH) would have won the Pacific Division.

Your Atlantic Division CHAMPION Buffalo Sabres will open the playoffs at home against either Boston or Ottawa. They will have home ice advantage through at least the first two rounds of the playoffs.

With only 4 1/2 periods left in the season (unless there are OT periods), the Sabres can still finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd in the Atlantic.

With the Lightning going to OT with Detroit, the #Sabres can now clinch the Atlantic division with a win in regulation tonight.

The #Sabres are the only team who have played 80 games. After CAR wraps up their game in CHI tonight, every other Eastern Conference team will be at 79 gms played. What does that mean for BUF? They will get a rest this weekend heading into the playoffs that no other team gets.

The #Sabres have only reached 50 wins in a season on two occasions (‘05-06 and ‘06-07). They sit on 49 wins now and will have two chances next week to get that 50th win.

The only team in the Eastern Conference that can catch the #Sabres in Regulation Wins is Tampa. BUF has 41 RW, TB has 39 with 3 games left.
