Counseling and Victim’s Advocate services will be available, and staff will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance. When police arrived to our room in Carothers Hall, the outer door was locked, and they banged on the door repetedly. This was quite scary. No safe word was used. I knew cops were in the building and in the area clearning out the rooms... so good chance it was them. The banging continued, so I cautiously made contact with them through the door window, and they told me it was safe to open the door. I was swept out of the room and then they went in and cleared out my students. That whole experience really sucked... I can't say enough though about my students and how well they handled the situation. I'm so proud of them <3
