We also honor Florida’s Revolutionary War heritage and our state’s profound influence on our nation’s past, present, and future. From the Panhandle to the peninsula, may the Spirit of Freedom ring across our state!

Today, we proudly celebrate America’s 250th birthday—a historic milestone honoring two and a half centuries of freedom, opportunity, and the enduring promise of the American Dream. On this historic Fourth of July, we honor the vision and courage of our Founding Fathers, the generations of patriots who built this great nation, and the brave members of our Armed Forces, veterans, and military families whose sacrifices have safeguarded our freedoms for two and a half centuries. As Old Glory waves across our communities, may it remind us of the extraordinary blessings we share and the enduring responsibility to preserve this remarkable nation for future generations. Today, on Korean War Remembrance Day, we honor Florida's more than 36,400 Korean War veterans and remember the sacrifices they made in defense of freedom. On the 76th anniversary of the beginning of the war, we also remember the more than 100 Floridians who remain unaccounted for. We will never forget their service and sacrifice #KoreanWarRemembranceDay #Florida
