মোগল যুগের কৃষিভিত্তিক ও প্রশাসনিক বর্ষপঞ্জি বাংলা সংস্কৃতি ও বাঙালির আত্মপরিচয়ের অংশ হয়ে উঠেছে। আর তা একসাথে বেঁধেছে জাতি-ধর্ম-গোত্র-বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে আমাদের সবাইকে। এ ঐক্য সবাই মিলে উদযাপন করলে জাতিগত সংহতি জোরদার হবে। তবে এ উদযাপন কারো আত্মপরিচয়কে ছোট করে যেন কখনোই না হয়।
