The committee claims St Joseph consented to the ruling, but the school denies this. St Joseph accuses one official of pushing for Jinja College's favor, alleging conflict of interest. "All we want is a fair hearing," said St Joseph's administration. "Waiswa is eligible."

Drama unfolded at Jinja SS on Tuesday as St Stephen's Budondo, Jinja College, and St Joseph SS Nakanyonyi all showed up for a round of 16 match. St Joseph had been disqualified after Jinja College petitioned against them for allegedly using an ineligible player, Waiswa Innocent.

St Joseph has petitioned the regional body, seeking a fair hearing and insisting Waiswa is eligible. They're puzzled why the Jinja committee hasn't served them with a written verdict, sparking questions about transparency.

They claim to have obtained the pass slip and presented it to the committee, but feel their case wasn't considered. "The committee asked for Waiswa's pass slip, which we brought the next morning, but no one was ready to look into our case," said coach Kisambira Michael Babise.

The disciplinary committee cited a mismatch in Waiswa's documents, which they say showed a female student's info when his LIN number was checked. St Joseph disputes this, saying they registered Waiswa with a recommendation letter due to a missing pass slip.
