Together with our dedicated network of 112 partner agencies, we reached 316,524 individuals with food assistance in February. This represents a year-over-year increase of 1%, continuing to reflect the rising demand for services across Sacramento County.

We’re incredibly proud to partner with an organization doing such meaningful work in our community! 💙👏

In 2025, Elk Grove Food Bank Services reached 108,292 individuals with food assistance and distributed 3,126,477 pounds of food. They also provide additional resources like free diapers, clothing and children's books for community members.

We're so grateful for the incredible partner agencies in our countywide anti-hunger network, like @EGFoodBank. During a recent visit, we connected with their Warehouse Manager to learn more about the impactful work they’re doing and the strong partnership we share.

We’re "berry" excited to provide these fresh strawberries to our neighbors in need.

It’s National Strawberry Day! 🍓 Strawberries aren't just tasty. They’re nutrient-rich too, loaded with vitamin C, fiber, antioxidants and other nutrients that help support heart health and immune function.

We were grateful for the opportunity to share what we're seeing on the ground and to uplift our anti-hunger priorities in next year's state budget.

As hunger continues to rise throughout our community and our state, it's critical that lawmakers prioritize the social safety net programs that help families put food on the table and move toward stability.

Yesterday, we were at the State Capitol for Assembly Subcommittee No. 2 Human Services' hearing to advocate for policies that protect and strengthen food access for our neighbors across Sacramento County and beyond.
