@MSchesse@aledmedwards Yes...that is exactly it. It is quite simple, and a way, in that we can now make synthetic antibodies that will do what we hope a natural antibody may do: bind the viral spike and prevent infection of a host cell.
@SachdevSidhu@aledmedwards I read the article about your research for a covid19 “cure” . Does the antibody protein attach to the virus and make it unable to infect cells? If so, will that stall the virus enough for the immune system to create its own antibodies?
