@AidanLaPorta69 @HernanCortes50 Wade was all nba at age 31 n. He did drop off in the playoffs though. You’re confused. Wade had less space to drive in his era than he would have today. This is harden and Wade both at age 31

Percentage doesn’t mean ANYTHING. Harden takes 9 threes per game during the playoffs and they’re all off the dribble and contested. While Wade BARELY shoots any and they’re usually with hella space. Plus, u grabbed Wade’s best two playoff on off numbers and compared it to 37 year old Harden. 😂😂🤐 Wade played in an era where the entire league sucked at 3’s so ofc it didn’t impact him much. But it’s why he was washed at 31 and didn’t have a long career like current stars lol.

@ScottKacsmar My only knock on the 2016 Finals win from a team concept is the Bogut injury/ Draymond. The fact that two of your most valuable front court players were not playing in the 2nd half of a game 5 where they were up 3-1 is kinda of an asterisks.

Also, it's probably no coincidence that Jordan's rise to 6-0 came at a time where the NBA had one of the weakest runs ever of #1 draft picks in 88-95. Only Shaq was truly elite. Webber didn't improve until he went to SAC after Chicago ended. Again, perfect storm of timing.

Not the point. 80s was billed as Magic vs. Bird but don't fall for that. Those LAL/BOS teams are some of the best rosters in history. Once those teams declined, NBA grew into a superstar era. Also an expansion era + closer 3P line in 94-97. Pace and scoring dropped. But MJ was the #1 star, and he just happened to fall into the best HC and one of the best #2s ever. In a league where the other best players were largely PF/C bigs (Shaq, Barkley, Hakeem, Robinson, Ewing, Malone), Jordan and the Bulls offered the toughest challenge.

@ScottKacsmar @xaviercross1971 I do think Webber was overrated. He was 6’10 with a lower shooting % than 6’0 Iverson taking 17+fg per game. That’s downright embarrassing

@ScottKacsmar Btw, I’m not one of these mindless riders who think that take away from LeBron’s greatness. AD was just that good that year. Really both him and LeBron. Ad was shooting 49.6% from mid range and 38% from 3pt that year. Lebron was shooting 64% 2pt and 37% 3pt on 6 attempts

@Sackboy43 Probably because LeBron led the league in assists that year and we know who the real leader of that team was.

True story: In 1993-94 without MJ, Pippen received as many first place MVP votes (7) that season as Dwayne Wade had his entire career. Davis never got one. And Bosh?

@ScottKacsmar Now do Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Anthony Davis. STFU

@ScottKacsmar I’m fine with LeBron being the leader. I’m fine with a LeBron getting finals mvp… but let’s not pretend like there wasn’t an ARGUMENT that AD was the Laker’s most valuable player that year.

@ScottKacsmar Fun fact: A 33 year old Wade got to the 2nd round game 7 of the ECF semis with 0 all stars( no Lebron or Bosh) . This is the same distance Pippen went in 1994 with Grant and Armstrong both making all star teams.

@xaviercross1971 You're missing the point. It's about the title runs that conveniently came during one of the weakest periods in NBA history.

@ScottKacsmar Far from stacked but it doesn’t need to be stacked when you have good defensive supporting role players and a low level all star offensively in Mo Williams. They were in the east not the west so your comp was a Magic team without thier all star point guard Jameer Nelson.

Imagine if tomorrow morning— the NBA announced they were moving the 3 point line closer by about 2 feet That’d be crazy, right? I can picture it now… “They’re making it easier to score!” Well guess what?! That happened from 1994-1997 & folks call it the “best era EVER” lmao

@BanisMajor @Sakowsk1Michael That’s not even how the old illegal defense worked lol . The arms lengths thing is about the modern defensive 3 second when you’re in the paint.

@Sakowsk1Michael What if they announced a rule where you had to be within arms-length of your man at all times, unless you were sending a hard double?
