@RetroTechDreams @kylepetree @compgeke Orinoco B cards also work on the 2400 in OS 9.1. Haven’t tried 8. I do the same as @compgeke - I have an old router (an AirPort Extreme from ~2011) that I hook up when I want to use any machines using 802.11b.

@kylepetree @compgeke That’s sweet! How did you setup a WiFi network for it to use? The best I’ve been able to figure out was by running Ethernet to one of my PowerBook G4s and then setting up its own WiFi network.

Playing a little DOOM on my Dell Inspiron 3000 - Pentium 233Mhz MMX from 1997 in MS-DOS 6.22. It blows my mind that when it was released it cost $3,999, which is around $7,843 today 🤯

@ronscompvids Didn’t want to risk breaking the plastic mounts. Most of the board was pretty clean already just had some battery leakage flakes on part of it.

@gordoslair @Gammitin @Yrouel86 yep! I had one of those at one point but it went with a Mac to @GarthBeagle :) Would love to find a similar new/ new old stock that's not crazy expensive.

Thanks to @Yrouel86 for recommending a brand new USB 2.0 card that works out of the box with MAC OS 9.2 and OSX (NEC chip (D720101F1)) on the PowerMac G4. It's so fast 👍

@Gammitin @Yrouel86 Did you happen to test it out in MacOS 9? Curious what you found. If not, then I'm going to track down a compatible USB+FW PCI card.

@techknight2 I think there is a VHS video of me opening one of these at Xmas ~1990! I haven’t seen one in ages.

omg I remember having one of these as a kid! I also remember it being half as wide as this but memory has faded. I cried when I sat it down on dads heater out in the garage not paying attention, coming back and it being a glob, not able to find another one in stores again :(

@hulkintosh I have one internal BlueSCSI using two IDs (one of which has two partitions). Then I have one external BlueSCSI.

@SadMacNoMore Do you have two BlueSCSI’s in it? You can have one of them act as multiple IDs.

How do you keep track of your SCSI bus?
