South Carolina's Board of Trustees announces the following contracts this morning. OC Kendal Briles: 3 years, $2M in Year 1, $2.1M in Year 2, $2.2M in Year 3. RB coach Stan Drayton: 3 years, $775,000 annually. OL coach Randy Clements: 2 years, $725,000 annually.

@BruinNationBBQ I mean this may be unpopular but I’m good with Shawn Elliot, especially with what he did the last time he was the OL coach. Overall the guy is good to have for the program.

Beamer has the opportunity to completely flip the narrative going into next season by hiring an OL coach and RB coach thats BOTH proven and will fit with Briles Scheme.Also keeping the majority of the offensive players on roster and going out and spending $ on a couple playmakers

Ultimately I see Briles taking over the HC job once Beamer is inevitably fired, and I don’t see that happening if he’s fired at any point in the 2026 season.

-I’d like to see us move up at least to the top 40 in offense in all stats.
-Day 1 I want to see better play calling, increased 3rd down efficiency.
-Get Seller back to what makes him great (assuming he stays)
-develop the WR room (unleash Nyck Harbor)

The only thing that worries me now, how much longer does Beamers leash get? There’s still glaring issues that won’t be fixed over night, OL, blocking, etc. what needs to happen for Shane to get another year/ How much more time are we going to tolerate?

It’s a new day in Cola, this was 100% the right hire for Beamer. I know there was some dissent recently but Beamer couldn’t just hire a lottery pick, this pick is to save his job so it makes sense hiring a big name, proven OC with the right experience. Regardless, it’s an upgrade
