Somalia’s Parliament mandate ended 14 Apr 2026 & the President’s term ended 15 May 2026, with no transition deal in place. HSM repeatedly affirmed this publicly & to intl partners. Any continuation without lawful consensus breaches legitimacy & risks serious national instability.

Surprisingly, institutions in rented offices by donor-funded with a project expiring this year and only days left in its government mandate (May15, 2026), has no legitimacy. This is a cover-up for evictions, land grabs, corruption & collapse. The world must not stay silent.

A failing government that displaced over 500,000 of its citizens through forced evictions in heavy rainfall, sold state assets, privatized public land & allegedly siphoned millions abroad now claims it will build 12,000 homes for victims it created. The hypocrisy is staggering.

The attack caused civilian deaths and injuries, with more casualties possibly still inside affected areas. HSM forces remain nearby, raising fears of further escalation and displacement. This is strongly condemned and must be held accountable.

With only 8 days remaining in his term (May 15), President HSM launched a late-night military operation against civilian areas in Dayniile district, deploying heavy weapons & armored vehicles in what's being described as forced eviction, landgrabbing & systematic destruction.

HSM’s dialogue move as his term ends 15May under intl pressure repeats a failed pattern linking elections along with consensus talks, deepening obstacles & buying time. This raises serious doubts on intent. No more failed talks. Only 3rdparty mediation can deliver a credible deal
