Getting back to “A Strange New Planet” activity. Students are creating infographics for the first 2 missions to persuade their government to complete the next 2 missions (orbiter and lander)! @westvikings

Students are creating graphic organizers with their solar system research. They had options of creating one or using the “Shark Bone Graphic Organizer”. @westvikings

Students are coming up the expectations that they will follow while I’m away at science camp. They are coming up with great lists! Since they wrote them, then they should know how to follow them. @westvikings

Science enrichment is packed today! Students are building the tallest tower out of noodles, tape, string and a marshmallow. @westvikings

Students are learning the differences between earth-based and space-based observations from observing a new planet in space. Great observations and conversations! @westvikings

Students went out to mark their intial ideas on the scale of the planets. Students were shocked at the difference of the actual scale when outside and on paper. #westisbest
