Outpatient worsening HF as an endpoint in clinical trials? Thrilled to present our cross trial analysis in HFp/mrEF @CVCTForum #LBCT session showing oral diuretic intensification 🎯 Occurs frequently 🎯 Is prognostically relevant 🎯 ⬇️ by all therapeutic classes 🎯 Has implications for trial efficiency

Cardiovascular disease doesn't respect borders. Neither should the science we pay attention to. On this week's episode of JACC This week, Harlan and I discuss spotlight CV research from China, and it's extraordinary! 🎧 jacc.org/digital-conten…

Us2.ai is proud to be a partner in this landmark research! Congratulations to the TARTAN-HF team on a truly important milestone. 🫀 These findings are striking. A significant proportion of people with diabetes may be living with undiagnosed heart failure without knowing it. Yet with something as simple and widely available as an NT-proBNP blood test, followed by a heart scan where needed, 1 in 4 high-risk patients were found to have the condition. In contrast, only 1% of those receiving usual care were diagnosed. That gap tells you everything about the cost of not screening. The case for structured heart failure screening in diabetes has never been clearer.
Kieran Docherty@Kieranfdocherty

Delighted to see our fellow Daniel present the results of TARTAN-HF (Targeted assessment in high-risk patients with diabetes to identify undiagnosed heart failure) as a late-breaking featured science presentation today at #ACC2026 clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05705…

Effect of contemporary HFpEF therapies on diuretic management: decongestive role or disease modification? Recent evidence from large, randomized trials demonstrates that contemporary HFpEF therapies, i (SGLT2-i), (MRAs), and sacubitril/valsartan and incretin-based therapies, improve symptoms, functional capacity, and cardiovascular outcomes while also reducing the need for loop diuretics over time. #Cardiology #MedTwitter #CardioTwitter #HeartHealth #Healthcare @EJHFEiC @hfcollaboratory @SJGreene_md @gcfmd @BiykemB @mvaduganathan @ShelleyZieroth @safchat @cardioceptor academic.oup.com/eurjhf/advance…

Medical treatments at 6 months in hospitalized and ambulatory HFrEF patients in the BRING-UP 3 Heart Failure study In this large nationwide cohort, guideline-directed therapies for HFrEF were widely implemented and maintained over 6 months with excellent treatment persistence. However, dose optimization remains a key unmet need in routine clinical practice. #Cardiology #MedTwitter #CardioTwitter #HeartHealth #Healthcare @hfcollaboratory @mvaduganathan @ShelleyZieroth @hvanspall @dranulala @safchat @EJHFEiC @ESC_Journals @escardio academic.oup.com/eschf/article/…

Cardiac amyloidosis is underdiagnosed and patients often present too late. As a cardiologist and co-founder of @Us2ai, this is the problem I have always wanted AI to solve. Sharing our new paper in Circ Cardiovascular Imaging validating our automated CA detection model!

We're proud to share our latest research published in 𝑪𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏: 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒊𝒐𝒗𝒂𝒔𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑰𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈: The development and external validation of Us2's deep learning model for automated detection of cardiac amyloidosis (CA) on echocardiography. Trained on 4,371 patients across the UK and Taiwan, and externally validated in the US and Japan across 5,776 patients in total, the results speak for themselves: ➡️ AUC 0.93 | 88.5% sensitivity | 87.2% specificity ➡️ Robust performance across age, sex, race, amyloid subtype and echo vendor ➡️ Consistently differentiates CA from other hypertrophic phenotypes including HCM, aortic stenosis, hypertension and CKD ➡️ Full report generated in 68 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐬 Huge thanks to our collaborators at the National Amyloidosis Centre (UCL), Duke University Health System, National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center (Japan), and MacKay Memorial Hospital (Taiwan). 📄 Read the full paper: us2.ai/clinical-evide… 📩 Contact us to learn more!
