It has been encouraging to hear how the BEAT to TREAT heart failure pathway, using point-of-care NT-proBNP testing and 𝐀𝐈-𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲, is transforming patient experience and clinical outcomes. Feedback from patients who have attended the clinic at Killie Community Hub so far has been extremely positive, with comments about how the experience feels less stressful and intimidating than attending a regular hospital appointment. For many, this has meant timely access to life-saving medication and a reduced risk of an unplanned hospital admission.
