#SettingBoundaries 3. Enforce with action: e.g. If you continue to raise your voice, I cut off the phone. People need to know there is a standard of acceptable ways of communicating with you. 4. Be consistent: This teaches others to respect boundaries. ~ @iDEASUG @SafariUbuntu

#FightForYourself Some of the key aspects of fighting for yourself include setting boundaries. A lot of us have failed on that. We focus on making too many other people happy. Make yourself happy. You can't fill another cup if yours is half empty. ~@iDEASUG @SafariUbuntu

#FightForYourself Telling yourself: "I can never be able to achieve this." You create rationals. Stop the self doubt and focus. Set the right goals and focus, it doesn't matter when. Everyone has their time. ~@iDEASUG #5amClub reflection @SafariUbuntu

#FightForYourself Take ownership of your decisions: You can't be lamenting all the time. You get whatever you reap. Wishful thinking won't give you what you want. You have to deprive yourself to achieve certain goals. ~@iDEASUG #5amClub reflection @SafariUbuntu

#FightForYourself Be kind to yourself: Find a way of achieving your goals without affecting yourself. ~@iDEASUG #5amClub reflection @SafariUbuntu

#FightForYourself 1. Speak up: e.g. "I don't like when ...." 2. Set small goals: Focus on one controllable goal. You can't buy a good body. You need to put in time, energy & focus. 3. Unlearn passive habits: Stop waiting for others to fix your problems. ~@iDEASUG @SafariUbuntu
