Denial of damage done by long covid, I would suspect is very much part of why govt is pushing this so hard.

The Lords identified that dependents of victims of industrial diseases, such as mesothelioma, will lose out on financial compensation, if their loved one has an assisted death because the Bill breaks the “chain of causation”. The Bill is a mess.

Module 2 @covidinquiryuk refused CATA CP status. No decision makers were questioned on aerosol transmission despite it being central to how COVID spread, who got sick, & what mitigations actually worked. This omission shaped every later discussion of lockdowns, PPE, & testing.

It may not be widely known but Dr Curran herself made repeated representations to Chief Nursing Officers about the route of transmission and protective measures needed 👏👏
Letters will presumably have been forwarded to IPC Cell

Correct. The literature reviewers were looking for evidence of transmission at distance when that was & is nonsense. Transmission happened close - where virus laden aerosols were most dense - at distance. There was and is no evidence for droplets being droplet @SafeDavid3 #CATA

ARHAI (Antimicrobial Resistance & Healthcare Associated Infection) were a key player in helping to draft the Covid IPC guidance.
They claimed the HSE had ‘approved’ the UK IPC guidance…
…but HSE deny this.
