TRAFFIC UPDATE: On Tuesday, Nov. 12 beginning at 1 p.m. a section of North Perry Street from Monroe Street to Madison Avenue will be closed for a Community Reception being held at City Hall. That section of North Perry St. will remain closed until the conclusion of the Reception.

This morning your hometown MPD participated in the Guns vs. Hoses 3M Scott Firefighter Combat Challenge. We faced off against Montgomery Fire/Rescue. Lieutenant Mackey, Lieutenant Ferguson, Sergeant Scott, Officer Albrecht, and Officer Booker participated in the challenge.

TRAFFIC UPDATE: One lane of I-65 northbound at Fairview Ave. has been opened following a crash between a tractor-trailer and car. Traffic is moving slowly so motorists are still encouraged to take an alternate route.
