@Stonekettle A way to ensure scams like this don't tempt? Adopt a *specific* charitable organizatn as your "go-to". There are any number for whom every dollar translates to great works. You don't have to be a big patron, just keep it in mind for when you have a few bucks to put out there.

The end of this is silly. There are no liberal Democrats who will vote for Trump. That is by definition - if you would seriously consider voting for Trump, you are in no sense a liberal Democrat. Nor, for that matter, are you a small-d democrat, given what we know about Trump.
