@SahidHasanSol @sofianedesign So glad to hear that, Shahid! I think LinkedIn is suitable for outreach for a client, but X is the right place to connect with like-minded people in the same industry.

@bybellarizp @sofianedesign So true! I've been active here for a week and I'd say I'm getting a way better response than on LinkedIn. Already connected with some good people and mostly the content and feeds I am consuming is exactly what I like.

I referred an SEO guy to my client. portfolio was decent enough, everything going well. Then the client noticed his messages felt off and ran one through an AI detector. and saw 100% AI. That was enough to loose trust and credibility. Not because of lackings in skill but he just couldn't trust a guy who wouldn't even build a connection with his communication. AI didn't take his job. Either lack of communication or laziness did.

Recently onboarded a client from the Framer Marketplace. Interesting thing, they didn't find me through my templates. They found a website I'd uploaded to the Gallery tab and reached out. I am assuming it's because how framer updated their landing page. Lesson: keep your expert profile updated with your best work. You never know what catches someone's eye.
