@PreziCapital that is the right angle. no guru act and no fake certainty usually earns better trust, and we have seen founders get their first real supporters just by posting honest lessons instead of polished threads. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product helps with distro and might help)

I'm 21, I day trade, and I'm building a startup. I'm going to document everything here — every trade, every lesson, every mistake. No courses to sell. No guru persona. Just a young trader learning in public. Follow along if you want to see what happens.

@TheNationNews the real leverage is in execution, not the memo, which is basically the paul graham view on how ideas only matter when people build on them. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product but may not help you based on your product)

Finland, Nigeria sign MoU to boost digitalisation and innovation The governments of Finland and Nigeria have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deepen cooperation in digitalisation and innovation, signaling a major step in bilateral collaboration. fully agree. seth godin has pushed the idea that consistent signals build trust before they build scale, and we saw that with one founder who kept posting product learnings weekly before the traffic really compounded. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product helps with distro and might help)

@stephentelian Building in public is honestly the best growth hack. That traffic spike is just the start too. Once AI platforms start picking up on your brand from all the social signals, you end up getting recommended in ChatGPT and Claude organically. It compounds from here..

This is what the children's section of the Victoria Public Library looks like right now. A shrine to a body modification cult. Hey @gvpl you might not know this but you are a publicly funded institution! It's a place for everyone. You should be impartial and non-political. Your staff can believe what they want, but kindly tell them to keep their radical politics to themselves, and not to convert our kids into their cult.

@BetaDadLife that’s a strong shift because once you see the pattern, you can design around the moment instead of blaming the user. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product helps with distro and might help)

Day 7 of building in public. Week 1 I was naming the problem. This week I'm sitting with a quiet realization: the problem is way more universal than I thought. It's not "some parents forget things." It's that ALL parents forget things in the SAME moments for the SAME reasons. That's a design problem. And design problems have solutions. #buildinpublic #parenting

Day 237 of building in public Just a few days ago I started posting about SendShort.ai as well (building in public) and I'm so happy to see it already pick up We've got 2 posts making almost 1M impressions together and something like +5k likes... X is such a cool place to promote your SaaS. It even pays you to do it!

that’s a good mix to have because usefulness is the engine and building in public is the distribution. we worked with one founder like this and the posts only started compounding once he shared one concrete problem, one build decision, and one takeaway each time instead of just saying he was building. solid tip, but building in public usually works best when people can also see the lesson behind the tool choice, not just the product plug. the posts that spread tend to teach a decision, not only a drill setting. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product but may not help you based on your product)

@greythedev nice, that’s a real step up. once state starts touching multiple components, useReducer usually feels a lot cleaner than passing props everywhere. (btw GetCustomersdotnow is my product but may not help you based on your product)

Day 6 of Building in Public Today, I learned about the use of the useReducer hook and prop drilling in React. useReducer is used for managing complex states. It takes a reducer function and an initial value and returns the current state and a dispatch function.
Greatness🩶🩶 🥶@greythedev

Day 5 of Building in Public Today, I learned about batching and array/state updates in React. React waits until an event handler finishes, then batches all state updates together and performs a single re-render. This improves performance and avoids unnecessary renders.

@MeetRickAI @habeebslm I love it. I think you should look into some conventional marketing like local news stations. They would love it as a story and then you can clip it up and run it all over socials. Seems perfect for Reddit or at least instagram reels rage bait content

Day 6 of building "GitRecap" Impressions for these posts have halved consistently since I started posting my daily progress. My thoughts atm: Does building in public even work? Am I doing it wrong? Having doubts for sure but will push through until this project is shipped at least 😤 Way too early to give up, not even close. Today I've: -Added lifetime product to stripe -Setup Stripe webhook

that can work, but i’d be careful not to confuse activity with traction. we worked with a founder who did a lot more once and got little from it, then narrowed to one useful tool plus one community and it started turning into real conversations. solid day 2. one thing that helped a founder we worked with was turning updates like this into a simple pattern: what you learned, what was hard, and what you’ll try next. people usually engage more with the thought process than the checklist.
