@GCIIMessi @AnfieldSector Gudogan already left and then came back so it didn’t hit them that much and walker went out on loan and then left so it softened the blow but yh the other 2 did hit them but it will be different to ours because we have 3 of our players that are part of the leadership group gone

@AnfieldSector City lost De Bruyne, Ederson, Gundogan and Walker last year, it's proper shit as fans - but when they're all around the same age it tends to happen like this

@AnfieldSector @alex_crook If he retains the backing of the board why haven’t they offered him a new contract when his current ones ends next year?😂

According to @JamesPearceLFC "Liverpool remain convinced about the wisdom of buying Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee potentially rising to £116m and believe he will kick on next season after getting to grips with the intensity of the Premier League."

This summer window is looking mental. We genuinely need: - RB - Backup LB - 2 midfielders (CDM and an athletic 8) - LW - RW - Versatile forward The club need to fix this mess. No more excuses

[🚨] NEW: Liverpool alongside Real Madrid are also one of the few clubs that can activate a release clause for Nico Schlotterbeck this summer. The fee is around £42-51m. The release clause is not valid for the entire summer transfer window. It expires around the time of the World Cup final - 19th July. [@Plettigoal]

@AnfieldSector And it may be 5 against Everton if we still got this manager, and if we lose to Everton it’s gonna be embarrassing especially if they overtake us in the table aswell

Luis Enrique: “I know Arne Slot is a great coach. It’s the first time they play with five at the back. But we are used to teams changing all the time… they played a great match. Physically they are strong, they got a lot of quality players. It was a nice match and it’s always nice playing against Arne Slot and his team because they try to play football offensive way and it was nice to watch.”

@SMXLFC Only other way it’s not pointless is if we did lose 1-0 and we sack him and hopefully a new manager bounce can hit and we bring it back to anfield

@AnfieldSector @JBurtTelegraph What if we do get top 5 only, we better not still keep him. It’s just gonna get worse next season. In this season every game has gotten worse and worse so next it will go downhill and we officially be a mid table club and we cannot do that no wayyy

[📰] @JBurtTelegraph on Sky Sports: “With Slot, it's going to be quite clear with him. If they don't get Champions League football by winning it or by qualifying through the league, then I think he'll go.  "There are an awful lot of mitigating circumstances around that. It's been a difficult season… but I think they'll look at it very forensically and think we haven't achieved and we're not quite sure we can carry on like this. "Liverpool are saying the opposite at the moment, they're saying they fully back the manager, but the fact is, it's been made very clear they've got to qualify for the Champions League. "Listening to Arne Slot talking after the game yesterday, he talked about the importance of qualifying for the Champions League because he knows that's the situation. "It may be very tough and a bit unfair on him, considering what's happened this season, but Liverpool are going into a very big summer.  "We're looking at Richard Hughes, the sporting director, possibly going. The talk in Saudi Arabia is not going away - Liverpool are saying he's going nowhere, but he's only got one more year left on his contract as has Michael Edwards and Arne Slot.  "That makes me think, we're heading for a change of sorts. It could be at the top of the club or in the dugout and on the pitch as well there will be a lot of change. There's an awful lot in play at the moment for Liverpool and I think Slot's under a lot of pressure and he has to qualify for the Champions League."

@Braden_LFC @itsurboyhass I kinda hear it from him because his passing is woeful, bar the long ball to salah it wasn’t great. At the same time Ali’s passing ain’t great which is why I think we need a keeper this summer who is more comfortable from playing out the back

[🟢] INFO: There is no imminent threat to Slot’s position. Internally from Fenway Sports Group to Richard Hughes, there is recognition of the unprecedented challenges this season has presented. Injuries have prevented last summer’s ambitious transfer strategy from ever taking shape, several new recruits have struggled and established players have endured downturns to an extent few could have envisaged. Their resolve, however, will be severely tested should Liverpool’s decline be exposed by City and PSG and the team fail to secure Champions League qualification. Champions League revenue is vital for what is expected to be another busy summer in the transfer market. An entirely new right flank is just one requirement. [@AHunterGuardian]
