i think minecraft should have fantastical atmospheric weather effects, I don't think they use particles nearly enough make it rain bubbles have faint twinkles appear at night in dark forests just far enough that the player can't get a good look

@DoomerCoomer granted though that the fantastic weather there is stuff like "mist that melts your eyes out and lose motor function in your arms" or "fog that instantly kills you and makes you a zombie"
