Quiz Bowl completed a successful stint at the @pace_nsc National Scholastic Championship, finishing tied for 52nd place! The team improved on last year's record, winning against teams from Minnesota, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, and Illinois. Congratulations to Saint Joe freshman Patrick Kaltenbach on an incredible achievement! Patrick earned a perfect score of 600 on the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Principles of Biomedical Science End-of-Course Assessment, the highest score possible. The PLTW assessment measures not only subject knowledge but also critical skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and ethical reasoning. A perfect score demonstrates an exceptional understanding of complex biomedical science concepts and the ability to apply that knowledge to real-world scenarios. What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is that Patrick achieved this milestone as a freshman in a rigorous, college-level course. Scoring a 600 places him among the top PLTW students nationwide and reflects an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence. We are incredibly proud of Patrick and grateful for Mrs. Gergely and our PLTW Biomedical Science program in helping students reach their full potential. #WeAreSaintJoe

The June Alumni Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 10 at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Saint Joseph. Please park in the Notre Dame Avenue lot and enter Door A if you plan to attend. Alumni who have passed away since the last Mass in November will be remembered. #WeAreSaintJoe
