As part of an 18-game winning streak, St. Mary reached the Bergen Jamboree championship following county bracket wins over Westwood (sectional finalist), Hackensack (sectional finalist) and Tenafly (second seed in county tournament). The Gaels won the NJIC Tournament against Lyndhurst (sectional champion) and reached the Non-Public B North semifinals. Senior Matt Kennedy stepped into stardom this winter and averaged 22 points per game. Jake Ellis and Merrick Olkowski also stamped their presence as top players in the area. Both Ellis and Olkowski will return next season. Coach Brian Gaccione also eclipsed 400 career wins this winter.
