Careers Fair, Tuesday 2nd December On Tuesday Year 10 and 11 attended the Careers Fair in the Training Suite and the Armstrong Centre. Over 45 providers came to school to give the pupils at Saint Michael's a glimpse into post 16 pathways that may be available to them.

Pupils in Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition have been learning how to make sponge cakes by the whisking method.

Pupils in the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang cast took on the challenge of a half term 11 mile sponsored walk from school to the top of Rivington Pike during the half term break. They completed this in record speed! Well done to all who took part.

Today our Year 11 pupils have had the chance to chat over lunchtime to a representative from Blackburn College who gave them information about future career pathways.
