Checking out progress at Xavier Middle School today. They were out of “normal” hard hats so ended up with a WWI-inspired fit. XMS is starting to take shape. Spacious classrooms and large footprints for collaboration, industrial tech, library, and art (2D and 3D). Very cool!

Digging in to some historical archives for a project. Came across this early site plan concept of Xavier HS — working name was Regis-LaSalle HS at the time. Pretty wild. Not sure about the East-West Saints Field configuration (now we just make our home side stare into the sun)😎

Patient arrived complaining of inability to feel its base. After inserting some new metal pins and a small brace, the trophy is now available for full participation in Tuesday’s championship reception (and expected to live a long, full life on display).

☑️History made this morning. We managed to twist Coach G’s arm into joining us for some media day action. He was TOTALLY uncomfortable, but a great sport. Thanks Coach!

Made it over to St. Pius X for school Mass this morning. Tons of spirit and participation — and some serious curiosity about how Fr. Gary’s microphone works.

Packed house! Always a great day to spend some time with @XavierBands. The room can barely contain all 117 band students … and it certainly can’t contain some of the amazing music heading your way this winter. Sounding great, Saints!
