@ChuksEricE Everyone in this part of the divide need help, really. Go close to him, you'll find the reason he added that story to the book, ask the police that shot the guy, you'll be surprised at what drove him internally. Everyone is dealing with one trauma or another. Don't be the victim!

“I’m not a social media type. The lady didn’t buy the book on social media, my number and address are on the book, she couldn’t get to me through any of those means, but she chose to go to social media to discredit my work and my book. She’s too small for me to explain to, she was not born when I started teaching, however, there's nothing wrong with my book story.” — Writer of the book reacts after a young mother raised concern about a story included in a textbook used by her son’s school.

Yesterday, I had an extensive intellectual conversation with my governor H.E Peter Mbah in his office. Soft spoken but super brilliant. We discussed extensively about his education vision for the state and also the current state of UNN hostels. He has spoken with the Vice Chancellor on it already even before we came yesterday. I hope the VC does something quickly. We will give the University till July 1st. If nothing is done by then, we will proceed to the law court.

Candidate : "Honestly? Nothing. I have loans, rent just went up, and I'm tired of being underpaid because I'm 'still learning.' I know my worth now." HR went back to his boss. Showed them the cost of leaving the role open another 3 months. The lost productivity. The team burnout. The recruiter fees if we went external. It was over 50,000. The boss accepted. Here's the part that still gives the HR chills: Six months later, she told HR she had another offer for 130,000 per month but turned it down because they were the only company that fought FOR her, not AGAINST her. Candidates remember who believed in them. They remember who negotiated IN GOOD FAITH versus who played games. Stop treating salary negotiations like a battle to win. Start treating them like the first test of your company culture. Because if you can't advocate for someone BEFORE they join, why would they believe you'll advocate for them AFTER?

If you live in a Band A area with constant light, yet you have 1, 2 or even 3 Ox fans in your apartment and you still complain that your prepaid units are finishing fast even without AC. Lol, jokes on you. Want to know why? Ox fans come with copper coils that consume between 100-160W depending on the speed. Multiply by two or three… now you know why your units dey vanish. If you want to be energy efficient, you already know what to do

The “Seven Mountains of Influence” doctrine is not found in Scripture. In the Old Testament, God’s demand of Israel was simple: worship Him alone and administer justice in the land. In the New Testament, Jesus gave the Church a clear mandate, the Great Commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations… teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you.” — Matt. 28:19–20 That is the charge: preach the gospel and make disciples. Jesus never instructed the Church to become a dominant stakeholder in entertainment, family, religion, education, government, media, or business. Yet the early Church lived under governments that persecuted them, and still, the faith spread until Christianity displaced paganism in the empire. They did not control entertainment. The arenas were filled with brutal gladiatorial combat. Christians didn’t reform it from within—they condemned it. They did not control the media. They simply lived as Christians. In a culture that discarded unwanted infants, Christians rescued and raised them. In a society that neglected the poor in death, Christians buried them with dignity. Where there was no public care for the weak, Christians created spaces of care, what later became hospices and hospitals. They shone in a dark world, not by influence, but by holiness and truth: “…that you may become blameless and harmless… among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life.” — Phili. 2:15–16 Their light was not political power, but the gospel itself: “…the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”— 2 Cor. 4:6 They did not rely on wealth or influence. They lived as Christians, and God moved. They were not obsessed with power. They were not courting politicians. They were ordinary, poor, persecuted people. Yet they transformed an empire, because they were faithful. They held fast to sound doctrine. They rejected false teachers. “…who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself.” — 1 Tim. 6:5 Paul went further: “If anyone preaches any other gospel… let him be accursed.” — Gala. 1:8 And the church in Ephesus was commended for testing and rejecting false apostles: “…you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.” — Reve. 2:2 But today, especially here in Nigeria, we often think more money and more power will spread the gospel faster. That assumption underrates God, the One who reduced an army from 300,000 to 300 and still gave victory. He does not need help. What we have abandoned is sound doctrine. Untrained voices lead multitudes. We measure ministers by metrics that do not matter: Large crowds. Money. Cars. Charisma. Instead of the truth. We have drifted from the faith once delivered, and that is why transformation is scarce. Let the obsession with seven mountains go. There is one mountain we are called to: Mount Zion. The mountain of holiness. That is the only “mountain” Scripture commands us to ascend. May God help us.

Dangote Fertiliser just raised $750 million from international investors through a 5-year Eurobond priced at 7.75%. Bank of America and JP Morgan arranged the deal. To put that in context, Nigeria’s own government issued a Eurobond in November 2025 at 8.75% and 9.5%. A private company from Nigeria just borrowed cheaper than the federal government. On its first ever bond issuance. That tells you everything about how much international investors trust this business. Cement. Refinery. Crude oil production. Fertiliser. And now tapping global capital markets at rates governments can’t match.

I saw a tweet that said, Check on your strong friends. So I messaged mine the one who’s always laughing, always helping everyone. I said, “Girl, you good?” She replied instantly Always. You know me. We joked a bit, then I moved on with my day. Two days later, I got a call. She was gone. Till today, I keep replaying that chat in my head wondering if I should have pushed harder, called instead, or shown up. Because sometimes, “I’m fine” is just a well-practised lie. And the people who seem the strongest are just the best at hiding their pain.

A Nigerian bank let one person open 960 accounts. Not 9, not 90, Nine hundred and sixty accounts. All in the same bank, all under the same customer. all used for fraud. The EFCC confirmed this in january 2026 during a press briefing in abuja. KYC - Know Your Customer... is supposed to prevent this. every bank in nigeria is legally required to verify who is opening an account, flag suspicious patterns, and report anomalies to the CBN. A person opening their 10th account should trigger a review. Their 50th should trigger an investigation. Their 100th should trigger an immediate escalation. Nobody flagged anything, not at account 10, not at account 100 not even at account 500. 960 accounts. one customer. one bank. zero alerts. The EFCC also confirmed in the same briefing that ₦162 billion in cryptocurrency transactions passed through a different new-generation nigerian bank without any form of due diligence, not even a single KYC check on those transactions. These aren't small Fintechs operating from someone's laptop. These are licensed, CBN-regulated financial institutions that nigerians trust with their money every day. The backend systems exist. The compliance teams exist. The regulations exist. What doesn't exist is the will to enforce them when enforcement slows down account acquisition numbers. Your bank knows who you are down to your fingerprints and your mother's maiden name. They just decided knowing 960 of the same person was fine😂.

No problem… Be sincere for this once in your life — “As a father, would you enjoy seeing a man take your daughter into his own house without paying bride price & marrying her legally to be parting her legs every night to knack her; while she carries out wiifely duties for him?” Secondly, for those 7 years you cohabited, you were not Christian, so no Wahala. The message we are passing across is for Christians and those who fear God enough to obey & uphold His commandments.

You people love to shout “fornication!” anytime they hear a couple lived together before marriage. Let me be honest about my own life. I cohabited with my wife for 6 years before we got married, not because we wanted to rebel. Not because we didn’t value marriage. Not because we lacked morals. We lived together because we were building a life together. We learned how to handle bills, resolve conflict, share responsibilities, support each other during hard times and see each other beyond the “dating version” We saw each other sick, broke, stressed, emotional, tired, and imperfect and still chose each other. By the time we got married, we weren’t strangers trying to figure life out. We were already partners. Marriage didn’t start our relationship. It confirmed the life we had already built. You may disagree with cohabitation, and that’s okay. Everyone has beliefs. But reducing every couple who lived together to “fornicators” ignores reality and dismisses real commitment, growth, and intentional partnership. Sometimes, cohabitation isn’t the absence of commitment. Sometimes, it is the preparation for it. ❤️💡
