@Kor_VT unfortunately you have to be intolerant of intolerance beacuse it could isolate you from so many wonderful people. It is perfectly reasonable for them to feel unsafe in your community if the bigotry is left unchecked

@Kor_VT I personally make my stances known by the people I have around me. I don't need to go on social justice crusades, but I do not tolerate bigotry in any form largely beacuse one of the people closest to me likely fits in that group

I’m sorry for the long post in advance. How do other creators deal with having a community that’s split on certain beliefs or viewpoints? I try to keep my space about games, hanging out, and giving people a break from everything else going on. But I’ve noticed my community has a pretty wide mix of perspectives, and sometimes that shows. I don’t usually get into heavy or political stuff, but I still end up seeing things I don’t agree with. And sometimes it’s not even direct, it’s community members bringing up someone else’s posts or saying they’re uncomfortable with what another person is putting out there. That’s the part I’m not always sure how to handle. Like where’s the line between keeping things chill and stepping in when it starts affecting others? Curious how other people run their spaces in situations like that. I want this to stay a place people enjoy being in, but also one where people feel comfortable.
